In this personal project, I wanted to experiment with textures, collage and brushes to try to make a more 'organic' animation.
Recopilación -
Gathering
La torre de Collserola es uno de los monumentos más fotografiados de la ciudad. Recopilé muchísimas imagenes de la torre, desde diferentes puntos de vista, para darle más movimiento al inicio del vídeo.
También busqué más fotos de la zona, antiguas y contemporáneas, para ver la evolución de la gente que visitaba y vivía en esta parte de la montaña.

Collserola Tower is one of the most photographed and iconic buildings in the city. I gathered a lot of pictures of it, from different perspectives, in order to be able to give more movement to the video's first part.
I also looked for more pictures of the area, old ones and recent ones, to see how people who visits and lives around there changed over time.
Texturas y pinceles -
Textures and brushes
Mi idea era darle un toque más urbano y orgánico al vídeo, así que añadí muchas texturas en After, jugando con los modos de exposición para darle un estilo u otro. Una vez hecha la animación, la pasé a Photoshop, donde añadí más texturas, trazos de pincel e incluso texto para darle el acabado final.

My idea was to give an urban and organic touch to the video, so I added a few textures in After Effects. I played with exposition modes to give the right mood to it. Once the animation was done, I finished it up in Photoshop, adding more textures, painting over it and even adding some text.
